Barrhaven East residents have raised important concerns about street safety across the ward. Here are answers to the most common questions Adam hears at the door.

Residents have flagged several high-risk areas including school zones, major intersections, and poorly lit pathways. Adam will conduct a full ward safety audit in his first 90 days to identify and prioritize the most urgent improvements.

Adam will work with Ottawa Police and city staff to explore traffic calming infrastructure , including speed humps, narrowed lanes, and raised crosswalks , that physically slow traffic rather than relying solely on enforcement.

School zones and park pathways will be a top priority. Adam will push for enhanced lighting, improved crosswalks, and reduced speed limits in every area where children and seniors are most at risk.
